Resource recycling is a pivotal measure for advancing environmental protection and fostering social sustainability. East Asian countries and regions share geographical proximity and face similar challenges in resource utilization and environmental conservation. To facilitate the timely exchange of insights and propel resource recycling, collaborative efforts among pertinent organizations in these areas gave rise to the “International Symposium on East Asia Resources Recycling Technology” in 1991. This biennial conference rotates among the East Asian countries and regions and was successfully convened 16 times. The 17th International Symposium on East Asia Resources Recycling Technology (EARTH 2024) will be held in November 1-4, 2024, in Changsha, China, organized by the Nonferrous Metal Society of China, Central South University, and other relevant entities. The symposium extends warm invitations to friends from diverse backgrounds and welcomes them to participate in this significant event in Changsha.
资源再生利用是实现环境保护和社会可持续发展的重要举措。东亚国家和地区地域相连、情况相近，在资源利用、环境保护等方面有许多共性问题。为了及时交流经验、推动资源的再生利用，相关国家和地区的组织联合发起“东亚资源再生技术国际会议”。从1991年开始，每两年召开一次，至今已成功召开了16次。第17届东亚资源再生技术国际会议(简称EARTH 2024)将于2024年11月1日-4日在中国长沙召开，由中国有色金属学会、中南大学等有关单位主办，热忱欢迎各界朋友莅临长沙，共襄盛会。
